BCSL Fellows
BCSL Fellows: Fellows are practitioners who currently serve in the PK-12 space. BCSL Fellows are skilled facilitators who provide professional learning focused on role-specific leadership development. BCSL Fellows lead institutes and multi-month networks that allow participants to collaborate, enjoy valuable peer learning opportunities, show vulnerability, hear different viewpoints, clarify priorities, and address key educational issues.
Jenny Brady serves as Senior Director of Community Engagement at Legacy Christian Academy. She is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in diversity and inclusion work from a Biblical perspective and has helped many Christian schools develop and implement initiatives with the overall goal of Biblical unity. Her work allows her to express her passion for Biblical diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion while combining her personal experience of growing up in Honduras. Jenny holds an MS in Sociology and a BA in Spanish. In the educational realm, Jenny has worked as a teacher and administrator and is on the Senior Leadership Team at LCA. She is the co-founder of the Christian Educators Diversity Alliance, co-creator of the podcast GRAACE360, and is a speaker, teacher, author, and trainer for schools across the country.
Anna Bryan serves as the Director of Lower School for Norfolk Christian Schools where she also supports leadership development and strategic planning. Prior to entering Christian education and leadership in 2021, Ms. Bryan served as a middle school math and science teacher in both public and charter schools, as well as a Math Specialist and later Assistant Principal for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Ms. Bryan holds a B.A. in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduate endorsements in mathematics from the University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary. She earned her master’s degree in School Leadership and Supervision from Old Dominion University.
Joel Hazard is in his seventeenth year as a Christian school educator. He currently serves as the Head of Academic Collaboration and Culture at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Ga. Joel has a master’s degree in educational leadership, as well as a specialist degree in educational leadership for learning from Kennesaw State University. Joel has a passion for school leadership, curriculum development, and is a champion of diversity within the Christian school sector. His efforts focus on professional development, curricular enhancements, and the creation of a learning environment that is biblically inclusive, and culturally proficient in preparing students to thrive in a globally connected world.
